Premier proudly serves Southern Ontario with 8 locations (Alliston, Ayr, Elmira, Listowel, Ospringe, Tavistock, Smithville and Norwich), offering a robust parts inventory and over 90 technicians able to provide service and maintenance.

Essential Duties:

  • Market, demonstrate, and sell new and used Turf, Compact Construction and Small Agricultural equipment.
  • Promote other goods and services that the Company has to offer.
  • Stay informed of Company promotions or special events in all departments.
  • Profile new and existing customers, while ensuring existing customer satisfaction with products or services.
  • Keep abreast of business trends that will affect customer purchases.
  • Attend and participate in John Deere Product Training, in-house training seminars, Turf/Landscape/Construction trade shows and Farm shows.
  • Stay current on product knowledge, features and benefits of all equipment potential saleable by the Company.
  • Timely and effective tracking of client progress through CRM utilization.

Skills and Requirements:

  • A competitive, self-starter, who is disciplined and goal orientated.
  • Excellent communication and good listening skills are a necessity to determine the needs of our customers.
  • Good organizational and time management skills are required.
  • Familiarity with current Turf, Landscape and Construction practices is an asset.
  • Knowledge of AG, Turf, Landscape and Compact Construction equipment is an asset.
  • Rotating weekends may be required.
