Inside Sales Representative - Rentals - Elmira, ON

Location: Elmira, ON
Type of Employment: Full-time

*** This position will be working out of our "sister company" Premier Equipment Rentals ***

Essential Duties:

  • Responsible for supporting internal and external customers to achieve customer satisfaction through understanding needs and negotiating orders.
  • This position is our customers frontline contact which always requires strong customer service skills and a professional attitude.
  • Coordinating equipment rental requests to shop to meet customer demands.
  • Generate leads for new business to drive sales and business growth.
  • Support our social media and Marketing efforts along with administrative tasks as required.
  • Go over safe operation of all equipment to customers upon pick up.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records.
  • Provide prompt follow-up on leads and inquiries.
  • Backup for Rentals Lead
  • Other associated tasks as required by the Rental Lead.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Proficient in a variety of computer software applications including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving and interpersonal skills, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills are imperative.
  • Knowledge of construction, landscaping and agriculture equipment an asset.
  • Must be customer and detail orientated.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Must have the ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
